Creed is owned by Cross Timber Gundogs. This boy runs with purpose when pursuing upland game. He is all business. He covers a field like a seasoned upland dog and exhibits unbelievable confidence in the water. At a mere 7 months old he learned to plunge under the water’s surface and reemerge with an elusive, diving duck in his mouth. Despite his intense desire as a hunting dog, he truly has a gentle, easy-going nature that is so nice in the house, dove field and duck blind. This “Off Switch” was on display during his first duck season. It only took a hunt or two for Creed to learn to be steady and remain in his Momarsh Dog Blind. At just a year old he learned to remain steady through several rounds of shooting, and birds falling from the sky, until called upon to retrieve ducks to the strap. He is extensively hunted in various states on various upland and waterfowl species. Cross Timber Gundogs went through 6 males in a 2 year timespan to find Creed. The efforts paid off. Creed demonstrates the blend of qualities just about any breeder would want to reproduce.
Creed earned the max score in his Natural Ability test. At the very young age of 18 months old, Creed was UT tested in Nebraska and earned the max score of 204 and a Utility Prize I on his first attempt. Even more, he did this on testing grounds that were unfamiliar to him as he resides in Oklahoma.
