VC North Texas Need For Speed, call name Goose, is a product of VC High Lifes V Zeke and North Texas Stella. Goose showed he would be a special gundog at an early age, receiving a Prize II on the NA at only 4 months old. He would go on to achieve a UT Prize I (201) on his first attempt and follow up the next year as a Versatile Champion with an IT Pass (186). From a very early age Goose has displayed a pointing instinct that is well above average and from the limited number of litters has so far shown to pass this trait on to his progeny. Goose works fast and ranges far in the field, covering ground quickly and efficiently. He is well behaved in the duck blind and a strong retriever. Goose stays in the house with us, is very calm, and plays well with our young children. Overall Goose has proved to be highly trainable, possesses a strong hunting work ethic, and is an excellent companion for the family.
